One of the key factors in long Covid is the increase in breathing frequency, due to changes in the diaphragm (tension and irritation by the liver). A normal breathing rate is somewhere between 10-18 breaths per minute. But often we see people breath at a rate of 18 or above. This makes the nervous system and brain think that you are in a fight or flight mode even when you are sitting on a chair or sleeping.

The fight or flight response is the body's natural physiological reaction to stressful, frightening, or dangerous events. It is activated by the perception of threat, quickly igniting the sympathetic nervous system and releasing hormones (such as cortisol), preparing the body to face the threat or run to safety. In this state the body uses a lot of energy.

A normal breathing rhythm can reverse the stress in the body because of the connection between de diaphragm and the autonomic nervous system and vagus nerve.

The program is 100% online, so you don’t have to travel to a therapist.
It is always possible to book a live (zoom call) session with one of our specialists.

FAQ

How much time does it take?

  • Depending on the state of your current health it varies how fast you recover, some people have an exellent result in 2 months, some may take up to 6 months. It all depends on how closely you follow the program.

  • About 5-10 minutes of reading and en 25-35 minutes of exercises a day.


Can I do it ?

  • The program is suited to your current health state, it is possible to start from every health level.


I already have long Covid for longer than a year. Is it suitable for me?

  • The duration of your symptoms is not relevant for an indication of the total recovery time. A large part of our clients has had Covid for longer than 1,5 years and respond really good on the program.
